Air conditioning in East Asia.
Author(s) : ISHIDA A.
Type of article: Article
Summary
World Bank statistics show that the proportion of the populations living below subsistence level through much of South East Asia has decreased in the last 20 years. This is attributed to the spread of industrialization. As a result, and with larger numbers employed in air-conditioned factories, there has been a greater demand for comfort cooling. A.R.T.
