Summary

Paris's district cooling network now serves a total of 1 400 000 m2. Concessionary of the city of Paris since 1991 and for 30 years, the Climespace network is now up to 30 km. In 1997 it began using a 12,000 m3 iced-water storage facility built in an underground parking garage. The objectives are to serve 250,000 m2 extra and 20 megawatts of capacity each year, thus reaching 3.5 million m2 and 240 megawatts in 2005.
