AIR HUMIDITY IN A ROOM PLAYS AN ESSENTIAL ROLE IN THE THERMAL SENSATION FELT BY THE OCCUPANT. IN A ROOM WITH A FIXED TEMPERATURE, THE FOLLOWING ASPECTS WERE DETERMINED BY MEANS OF A DYNAMIC SIMULATION MODEL: THE EFFECTS OF THE ABSORBENT MATERIALS, OF THE NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS AND OF THE TYPE OF AIR EXCHANGE ON THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND ON SKIN MOISTURE OF THE OCCUPANTS. THE INTEREST OF HUMIDITY-CONTROLLED < GRILLES > FOR DECREASING CONSUMPTION DUE TO AIR CHANGE IS UNDERLINED.
