Air quality in the breathing zone in rooms with displacement air flow.

Type of article: Article
Summary
In rooms with displacement air flow a better air quality can be reached for the occupants even if the height of the supply air level is below the breathing zone. The use of cooled ceilings changes the air flow pattern of the displacement flow if the percentage of cooling load achieved by the ceiling is higher than 60% of the total load. The air changes to a mixing flow, and there is no improvement of the air quality.
