Author(s) : SUPPLE R. G., BROUGHTON D. R.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Two-stage evaporatively cooled water can be passed through a coil to pre-cool primary air, and the outlet moist air from the cooler pads used to reduce the condensing temperature of the refrigerated stage, when this is in use. The system must be validated for the local climate. The process is evaluated for 3 typical geographic areas, with predicted energy savings up to 47%. A.R.T.
