An analytical algorithm for hydronic circuit analysis and assessment of equipment performance.
Author(s) : KILKIS B. I.
Summary
Heat pumps, hybrid HVAC systems, thermal energy storage, waste, and alternative energy utilization are some of the examples needing generally oversized equipment. Increasingly complex circuit analysis, and computer codes that are equally sophisticated. In the paper, a simple analytical algorithm is presented that can accurately calculate equipment temperature drop and heating capacity, energy loss, and fluid flow rate in a complex circuit.
