Summary

IT WAS OBSERVED THAT THE NATURAL CONVECTION OCCURRED WHICH PROMOTED THE THERMAL HOMOGENIZING EFFECT IN THE POROUS LAYER, AND CONSEQUENTLY THE STEADY STATE WAS OBTAINED IN A SHORTER TIME BY THE CONTRIBUTION OF NATURAL CONVECTION. IT WAS POSSIBLE TO CONTROL THE TIME TAKEN TO REACH A STEADY STATE AND THE AMOUNT OF HEAT STORED IN THE POROUS LAYER.
