THE AUTHORS ANALYZE THE EFFECTS OF THE INDEPENDENT VARIATION OF DIFFERENT GEOMETRIC DIMENSIONS OF HERMETIC COMPRESSOR VALVES ON THE EFFECTIVE FLOW AND FORCEAREAS USING A CIRCULAR VALVE PLATE, SUCH AS VALVE DISC DIAMETER, VALVE SEAT STEP HEIGHT AND RADIUS, VALVE PORT LENGTH, ENTRANCE AND EXIT PORT RADIUS, ENTRANCE AND EXIT PORT CONICITY.
