Summary

The study aimed at clarifying the performance of a desiccant rotor operated for dehumidification and/or humidification, and at designing highly efficient desiccant rotors and systems. Theoretical analysis was performed for the rotary dehumidifier and humidifier, and the influences of the adsorption/desorption time ratio, the air flow patterns, the regeneration air and process air conditions and other factors on rotor performance were examined.
