Summary
Analyses the main problems and the applicable conditions of the application of solar refrigeration and air conditioning technology to buildings. The results show that although the technology has a good development prospect, but at present it cannot be widely applied to common buildings because f its higher initial investments and larger occupied area of equipments. The investment of water chillers with solar refrigeration is 10~ 16 times more than that of conventional water chillers. Improving comprehensive utilization efficiency of equipments is important for system economical performance. Study on this technology should focus on the problems of engineering application, such as the practical and economical performance and applicable conditions.
