Summary

IT IS DEMONSTRATED THAT AN ALTERNATING LONGITUDINAL ELECTRIC FIELD PENETRATES FAR INTO THE SUPERCONDUCTOR. THE FIELD IS DUE TO NEAR-SURFACE QUASI-PARTICLE CURRENTS OF A HALL NATURE. THE ANOMALOUS PENETRATION EFFECT DUE TO THE FIELD MAY CONSIDERABLY EXCEED THE ANOMALOUS PENETRATION EFFECT IN THE ABSENCE OF A STATIONARY MAGNETIC FIELD.
