Capacity control solutions with scroll compressors.

Summary

A number of methods for capacity control with scroll compressors are described. The simplest method is to use multiple compressors to give capacity steps. A single compressor can be speed controlled or fitted with a mechanism for reduction of the pumped volume. Models having these capacity control methods have been developed. The most recent development allows change between 100% capacity and zero capacity several times per minute in accordance with a controller signal.
