Summary
BASED ON THE RESULTS OF SURVEYS AND CALCULATIONS, THE AIR VELOCITY AND THE TEMPERATURE VARIATION WITHIN THE FLOOR AREA ARE ANALYZED AND THE AIR DIFFUSION PERFORMANCE INDICES ARE EVALUATED. THE EVENNESS OF THE SUPPLY AIR VELOCITY ALONG THE AIRFLOW IN THE CEILING PLENUM IS DISCUSSED, AND THE NECESSITY OF HAVING DISTRIBUTING DUCTWORK INSIDE THE CEILING PLENUM IS INVESTIGATED. A NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF CALCULATING THE SPACE AIR TEMPERATURE DURING TRANSIENT HEAT TRANSFER AND INTERMITTENT OPERATION IS PROPOSED.
