THE BUILDING DESIGN PROCESS WITH PARTICULAR RESPECT TO THE < ENERGY > ENGINEER WAS EXAMINED AND THE MAJOR REQUIREMENTS, LIMITS AND LEVELS OF COMMUNICATION DETERMINED. THE ADVANTAGES AND REQUIREMENTS OF CAD IN THIS PROCESS WERE IDENTIFIED AND RELATED TO THE ADDITIONAL NEEDS IMPOSED BY THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY TARGETS ON BUILDING DESIGN.
