Summary
THE CONDENSING HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS FOR R21 HAVE BEEN ME ASUREDUNDER A RANGE OF CONDITIONS REPRESENTATIVE OF THOSE OCCURRING IN THE CONDENSER OF A R21 GENERATING PLANT. A MODIFIED WILSON LINE METHOD WAS USED TO DERIVE THE RESULTS. IN ADDITION TO MEASUREMENTS ON THE TUBE BUNDLE AS A WHOLE, THE PERFORMANCE OF INDIVIDUAL TUBES WAS INVESTIGATED. THE RESULTS ARE COMPARED BOTH WITH THE THEORETICAL PREDICTIONS AND WITH THE PREVIOUS EXPERIMENTAL WORK.
