Conservation of thermal energy in a heat pipe extension bath.
Author(s) : SINGH Y. P., WASAN V. P., ZAIDI Z. H.
Type of article: Article
Summary
A tubular heat pipe developed earlier by the authors was found to work satisfactorily as a constant temperature bath for calibration of long-stem thermometers. A theoretical aspect of operation of such a heat pipe and the evaluation of some of the important parameters have been discussed. Its relevance as a device for saving thermal energy has also been presented.
