Summary
The aim of the research project described is dehumidification of air by contact with aqueous hygroscopic brine. To achieve this sorptive air dehumidification, sensible heat will be produced during which has to be extracted from the process. A central evaporative cooling unit was developed in order to lower the air temperature and for process cooling. The results of the measurements are given in order to assign a value to the effectiveness of the indirect evaporative cooling.
