Summary
In order to enhance passenger comfort thanks to comfort cooling, the Paris transport corporation, RATP (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens), has opted for cooling ventilation. This technology is particularly suitable for urban-transport systems. It is inexpensive and is now being adopted by the French national railways, SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer).
