DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN EXPERIMENTS AND HYDRODYNAMIC THEORY OF BOILING CRISIS ARE DISCUSSED. TWO EXACT SOLUTIONS OF THE MODEL PROBLEMS ARE OBTAINED. IT IS SHOWN THAT AN ADDITIVE MODEL ACCOUNTS FOR THE PHENOMENAOBSERVED.
