Summary

A NON-METALLIC AND NON-MAGNETIC CRYOSTAT, WITH A VERY LOW THERMAL BUDGET AND A CONTAINER TYPE AUTONOMY WAS DEVELOPED, TO CONDITION SQUID MAGNETOMETERS. THIS INSTRUMENTATION USES COMPOSITE MATERIALS, THERMAL SHOCK AND VIBRATION RESISTANT, MULTILAYER THERMAL RADIATIVE INSULATION, TO DETECT VIBRATIONS WITH THERMAL EQUIVALENT EMISSIVITY LOWER THAN 0.001.
