Summary
Drag-reducing technology has been developed with special surfactants used in HVAC water piping systems. This report shows the development, including screening of the surfactants, laboratory drag reduction tests with real scale pipes, heat exchanger tests, heat pump tests, corrosion tests, and a long field test on an office building (for over 5 years).
