Summary
The development of new or improved therapeutic procedures through different applications of low temperature in medicine are significant parts of the improvement in medical care. Cryomedicine uses the cryological effects of cold treatment on organic tissue for many therapeutic applications in the area of cryopreservation, cryosurgery, especially for tumour treatment and cryophysiotherapy such as whole-body cryotherapy.
