Digital control of VRF multisplit systems.
Digitale Regelung von VRF-Multisplitsystemen.

Summary
On the basis of the load-dependent driving power of a hermetic compressor, it is obvious that partial load control can be achieved either by changing the motor speed or the motor torque. In both cases, one achieves a load-dependent change of the driving power, i.e. implementation of the VRF principle. On this basis, two technologies became generally accepted worldwide: widespread speed control by means of frequency converter and torque control for rolling piston compressors.
