DISTRIBUTION OF INFILTRATION LOAD OF TALL BUILDINGS.

Author(s) : ZHAO H.

Summary

THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS WORK IS TO DETERMINE THE FIELD PATTERN OF INFILTRATION LOAD CAUSED BY WIND AND STACK EFFECTS UNDER PRACTICAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS, AND TO ESTIMATE THE EXTENT OF THE INFLUENCE OF WIND TO ROOMS WITH DIFFERENT ORIENTATION AND POSITION. NUMERICAL SIMULATION METHOD IS USED TO ANALYSE THE INFILTRATION LOAD DISTRIBUTION AROUND BUILDINGS IN HEATING PERIOD. AN OVERLOAD INDEX CAN BE USED AS A SIGNIFICANT INDEX FOR ESTIMATING WIND EFFECTS. THE AUTHORS CONCLUDE THAT THE COMPONENT PART OF INFILTRATION LOAD BY WIND EFFECT TO WHOLE BUILDING IS ALWAYS LIMITED IN A SMALL RANGE. BUT THE INFILTRATION LOAD VARIATION TO A ROOM MAY FLUCTUATE WITHIN A CONSIDERABLY GREAL EXTENT.
