Quotes BSRIA statistics on sales of mixed flow fans in the UK in 1992. Describes the different characteristics of axial fans and centrifugal fans. Gives advice on their installation. Notes that axial fans are normally chosen, because they are cheaper. Notes further changes to the Building Regulations which may ratify more passive venting methods.
