Summary
Design of HVAC systems must commence at the earliest stages of building design, in order to reach basic decisions. An assessment method sets down initial options with costs, for consideration and understanding by all those concerned. These options are then refined at joint meetings, so that agreement can be reached stage by stage. This method involves all parties in the joint decisions and all are aware of the points accepted.
