Economizer control.
Author(s) : KRAKOW K. I., ZHAO F., MUHSIN A. E.
Summary
The paper deals with finding the best system (to save energy), in the operation control of dampers (outdoor intake damper, discharge damper and recirculation damper). Linear or non linear damper use are discussed. A strategy in which outdoor air and recirculation dampers are coupled, while the discharge damper remains fully opened seems to require less fan power.
