Efficient display case refrigeration.
Author(s) : FARAMARZI R.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The article discusses the cooling load components of an open refrigerated display case. Refrigeration system energy use is important because it accounts for approximately half the electricity use of a typical large supermarket. Refrigerated display cases account for most of this usage. The different components of the cooling load are analysed (conduction, pull down load, included after defrost, defrost load, anti-sweat heater load, radiation load, internal loads).
