Ejector expansion refrigeration cycle.

Author(s) : SILVETTI B.

Summary

The author exposes the improvement in yield that can be obtained in a conventional vapour-compression cycle, through the use of an ejector recovering the fluid expansion energy. The difference between evaporation pressure and condensation pressure is increased with the same work from the compressor. An operation diagram is given. Advantages and performances are presented, along with the fields where improvements are possible (design of the ejector). Possible applications are evoked.
