Summary

Typical energetic evaluations of air-conditioning systems (VAC-systems) are based on benchmark procedures by comparing the demand values with those of the "reference system". The presented procedure determines an energetic ideal value (reference value) for a defined use. Comparing the real processes with this ideal process provides a bandwidth of demand values from which an energetic cap value can be derived. Thus, the energy demand can be limited.
