Evaporative cooling as alternative method for air processing in air-conditioning. Examples.
Chlodzenie wyparne jako alternatywna metoda chlodzenia powietrza w klimatyzacji - przyklady zastosowan.
Author(s) : DABROWSKI P., MIKIELEWICZ D.
Type of article: Article, Case study
Summary
The following paper presents examples of evaporative cooling applications. Known examples of such implementations have been collected from literature. The paper also includes a device concept, based on the use of the commercially available evaporative air cooling heat exchanger. A comparison of plant operation in different climatic zones has also been involved. The evaporative method has been confronted with the conventional, compressor-based one, showing financial benefits of choosing the alternative air cooling method.
