Summary
The paper reports on the current state of heating, ventilation and hot service water systems in Poland and describes efforts toward modernizing them. Of all the systems equiping buildings, the above have the brightest energy saving outlook. Attention is paid to trends in low-energy-use systems. Suggestions regarding designing, law conditions, research and use of buildings are presented.
