Summary
The purpose of this paper is to present initial experimental, numerical and theoretical results concerning the temperature distribution along a nitrogen cryostat neck. The experimental and numerical results seem to be in good agreement, which suggests the validation of the numerical model proposed to describe the transfer phenomena in a cryostat.
