Summary

HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS ARE EXPERIMENTALLY OBTAINED FOR THE EVAPORATIVE COOLING PROCESS THROUGH VARIOUS THICKNESSES OF RIGID IMPREGNATED CELLULOSE EVAPORATIVE THESE DATA ARE NONDIMENSIONALIZED AND CURVE FITTED TO YIELD A SET OF WORKING EQUATIONS. A METHOD OF SIZING EVAPORATIVE COOLERS USING THE DERIVED EQUATIONS IS PRESENTED.
