Summary

A FULLY INSTRUMENTED SPLIT CYCLE FREE PISTON STIRLING CRYOCOOLER SYSTEM HAS BEEN CONSTRUCTED. DYNAMIC PRESSURE, DISPLACEMENT AND GAS VELOCITY ON BOTH PISTON AND DISPLACER SIDES CAN BE MEASURED AND RECORDED SIMULTANEOUSLY BY TRANSIENT DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM. EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN PRESENTED AND DISCUSSED CONCERNING THE DYNAMIC MODELLING OF CRYOCOOLER SYSTEM AND COMPARED WITH THAT PREDICTED BY MODEL.
