CORRECT SELECTION AND CORRECT LOCATION OF SUITABLE FLEXIBLE JOINTS WILL REDUCE VIBRATION, NOISE AND PIPE STRESSES. LABORATORY TESTS INDICATE SUITABLE TYPES OF COUPLING AND SHOW THAT MORE THAN ONE COUPLING MAY BE REQUIRED TO CONTAIN A VIBRATION PROBLEM. A.R.T.
