Summary

THREE RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS, FITTED WITH FORCED VENTILATION/AIR HEATING UNITS WITH HEAT RECOVERY, ARE DESCRIBED AND ASSESSED. BASED ON THE RESULTS, PRINCIPLES AND RULES WERE DEDUCED FOR HEAT RECOVERY UNITS FOR BUILDINGS WITH SEVERAL FLATS. POSSIBLE SAVINGS OF PRIMARY ENERGY AMOUNT BETWEEN 3.6 TO 10.4 GIGAJOULES, PER YEAR AND PER FLAT, DEPENDING ON THE BASIS OF COMPARISON. THE CONSUMPTION OF PRIMARY ENERGY AND THE PROFITABILITY OF AIR HEATING UNITS CAN BE ESTIMATED BY MEANS OF A NOMOGRAM.
