Summary

Announcement was made on December 17, 1993 by Michel Laguës (CNRS, ESPCI research team, Paris), and on January 3, by Jean-Louis Tholence (CNRS, CRTBT research team, Grenoble, France) about the development of superconductors, respectively at -23 (ILP 34) and -3 deg C (mercure 1223). New technological hope in the field of integrated circuits, electronic elements, high-speed computers, motors, transformers, high-speed trains, energy-storage coils. A reminder of the different feats achieved since the 1986 discovery of the superconducting cuprate-based ceramics. The improved compounds are cuprate-based complex compounds. J.V.
