Summary

HEAT RECOVERY MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO SAVE FROM 50 TO 80% OF TOTAL HEATING COSTS. SUCH A PLANT CERTAINLY INVOLVES LARGE INITIAL INVESTMENT, BUT THE LONG-TERM EFFECTS IS A SAVING THROUGH REDUCED HEATING COSTS. IN THIS ARTICLE, SOME GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS ON HEAT RECOVERY EQUIPMENT BASED ON REFRIGERATION PLANT ARE PUT FORWARD. ALSO DEALT WITH IS THE AUTOMATIZATION OF A LARGE HEAT RECOVERY PLANT IN A DANISH SUPERMARKET.
