Heat transfer in thermally developing laminar flow in pipes of some secondary refrigerants and effect of return bend.
Author(s) : HONG S. H., HRNJAK P. S.
Summary
The paper presents experimental results and analysis of heat transfer in the thermally developing region of round pipes for three fluids typically used as low-temperature coolants (secondary refrigerants). The effect of a horizontal U bend is also presented. The experiments were performed at low Re and high Pr numbers that are typically found in secondary refrigeration loop conditions.
