Helium jet accommodator for the thermalization of atomic hydrogen gas.
Author(s) : MERTIG M., LEVKOVITCH A. V., LUPPOV V. G., et al.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The authors have developed a helium-temperature accommodator for atomic hydrogen gas with a transmission efficiency higher than 50% and a small heat load due to the reflowing helium film. With this accommodator a stable flux of hydrogen atoms into the low-temperature storage cell has been achieved. A high helium compression of hydrogen atoms into the storage cell has been observed.
