HVAC system simulation: use of condensed input data.
Author(s) : HANBY V. I., ROUND M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Many applications of HVAC system simulation require results obtained over a long period, which can mean a long computation time. A method is described for producing multi-variable binned data which reduces the computation time needed. The accuracy of the method is illustrated by comparing the results obtained in an example simulation using the condensed input data with those obtained from hourly time series values.
