Summary

TURKEY SEMEN WAS STORED FOR 24 H AT 278 K (5 DEG C) IN THE PRESENCE OR ABSENCE OF ADDED SPERMATOZOA THAT WERE DAMAGED BY IMMERSION IN LIQUID NITROGEN. THE FERTILITY OF SEMEN STORED IN THE PRESENCE OF DAMAGED SPERMATOZOA WAS SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER THAN SEMEN STORED IN THEIR ABSENCE. FERTILITY WAS AFFECTED BY A SIGNIFICANT SEMEN TREATMENT X HOLDING TIME INTERACTION.
