Summary

RESULTS ARE PRESENTED FROM THE STUDY, CARRIED OUT TO DETERMINE THE INFLUENCE OF HUMIDITY ON THE FUNCTIONING OF AIR COOLERS DURING FROST FORMATION IN AN ELECTRIC FIELD. IT WAS NOTED THAT THE INFLUENCE ON HEAT EXCHANGE AND ON THE AERODYNAMICS OF THE AIR COOLER IS MOST IMPORTANT WHEN THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY IS EQUAL TO 94-98%. FURTHERMORE, COMPARED WITH THE OPERATION OF THE AIR COOLER IN THE ABSENCE OF AN ELECTRIC FIELD, THE HEATEXCHANGE COEFFICIENT IS INCREASED BY 1.1 TO 1.7 TIMES.
