Summary
Calculation methods for storage tanks are represented both with non continuous supply or discharge and intermittently operating heat supply. Storage tanks in cooling supply systems also belong to to the second group, and can simultaneously take over the function of a hydraulic intersection. Numerical examples clarify the appropriate application of the formulae given.
