The book includes the proceedings of this conference, held in Tokyo, Japan in November 1992 under the auspices of the International Energy Agency. Energy consumption, energy-saving policies and energy efficiency are analyzed for certain Asian countries. The possibilities of increasing energy savings in these countries are presented, particularly thanks to co-operation with the International Energy Agency.
