Investigation of two-phase ejector in application to compression refrigeration systems.

Summary

A way to reduce the throttling loss by means of a two-phase ejector application in a compression refrigeration device is presented. In this system the two-phase ejector operates as a booster compressor. The experimental investigation of the performance of the two-phase ejector is presented in this paper. The testing apparatus and procedure are described. The effect of the compression ratio and flow ratio on the ejector efficiency are shown on the basis of the experimental results. The model of the two-phase ejector is briefly presented in the paper.
