Laminar film condensation on a horizontal surface with surface tension effect.

Type of article: Article
Summary
The surface tension effect of the liquid-film on a finite-size horizontal plate is not negligible. In fact, from the study, the authors find that the surface tension effect plays the role of contributing the difference of heat transfer coefficient between the theoretical result of Shigechi et al. (1990) and the experimental result of Nimmo and Leppert (1970).
