Summary
The design and analysis for the lubrication system for the revolving vane compressor will be presented. The locations in the compressor which require lubrication will be identified and the oil flow characteristic for each different type of flow path will be discussed. The individual oil flow paths will be analyzed and solved by making an analogue to the electric circuit network. The formulated set of linear simultaneous equations is solved for the oil flow rates using the Gauss Elimination method. The effects of operating conditions and various design parameters are examined.
