Summary
Air age is usually measured by the injection of tracer gas. In the paper, a new method to get air age is presented, which is a field modelling of air age. The new method is based on the species equation of tracer gas. CFD techniques used to solve the partial-differential equations to get air age and validation is made between predicted and test results in a chamber.
